Industrial Instruments:

BRASTEN GROUP offers a full range of industrial instrument product to measure pressure, temperature and level. All of our products are designed and manufactured under our supervision in leader facilities worldwide. This is far more complex than it seems. Manufacturing a perfect product starts with its design. Not only does Badotherm design the end product, and all its components, the necessary tooling and machinery are designed in house too.
And even then we make no concession on quality. Each individual part is produced and assembled to the highest quality. Once manufactured, our products are tested under process conditions. Because all these steps are controlled within Badotherm processes, we know that there is only one possible result: the best quality available.

Pressure instrument:

Badotherm’s range of pressure instruments includes both mechanical and electronic measuring instruments. Our electronic pressure sensors cover ranges from 20 mbar up to 2200 bar and our mechanical pressure gauges cover ranges from 2.5 mbar at the lowest pressure to 4000 bar at the maximum. Case diameters are available from 40 mm to 250 mm. Accuracies between 2.5% and 0.1% can be provided. These all meet stringent EN standards. The internals of our pressure instrument range are available in brass or stainless steel. Badotherm pressure instruments offer one of the most comprehensive product ranges available in our industry


Badotherm “Safety baffle wall” pressure gauges represent the safest gauge in our industry and can be found at the higher end of our product range. These gauges are manufactured completely in stainless steel or in stainless steel with a plastic compound casing. In addition, this product is available in both dry, glycerine fillable or filled executions as standard. This filling option is available for our complete range. Most of our instruments are compatible with mechanical or electrical accessories, like drag pointers and contact devices, and can be combined with a variety of chemical seals.

Temperature gauges and Thermowells.

Badotherm’s range of temperature instruments includes thermometers, thermostats, and electrical instruments. Thermometers are divided in gas filled and bimetallic types and cover the temperature range from a minimum of -200 °C up to a maximum of 650 °C. Electrical instrumentation allows us to extend temperature ranges to 1800 °C.
Case diameters vary and are available from 50 mm to 250 mm. The most commonly used instrument is our fully stainless steel execution. Other materials are available on request.

Most Badotherm thermometers can be equipped with the same accessories used for our pressure gauges. We also offer a wide range of stainless steel thermowells designed to protect our thermometers from extreme conditions. These are available in different materials such as Hasteloy, Monel, and Duplex or with special coatings such as tantalum or gold. Our thermostats are manufactured for a wide variety of cars, ships, tractors, and trains.

Chemical seals.

Badotherm chemical seals are available in stainless steel AISI316 as standard. They can also be manufactured in all known exotic materials. Naturally, our seals can be supplied with 3.1.B and other material identification certificates. The smallest diaphragm diameter offered is 23 mm / 1” and the biggest diaphragm is 89 mm / 3½”. At these dimensions the lowest possible measurement for a chemical seal mounted to a gauge pressure transmitter is 10 mbar and we can even reach as low as 2 mbar for a DP measurement. We offer a temperature range from –140 °C to a maximum temperature of 400 °C. With a wide choice of system fill fluids and diaphragm materials, the Badotherm chemical seal range is the most flexible and extensive available in the industry.

Badotherm chemical seals can be added to virtually any pressure measuring device. Pressure gauges, transmitter, sensors and switches are all compatible. The purpose of a chemical seal is to protect instrumentation from extreme temperatures, and from aggressive, highly viscous, corrosive, heterogeneous abrasive, and toxic media’s. Chemical seals enable not only, hygienic connection of measuring instruments in the process industry, but can also be used for simple wastewater applications or more highly sophisticated process- and petrochemical applications

Instrument fittings, Manifolds.

Badotherm’s manifold range includes simple one-way needle valves, straight or angle type, up to 5-valve manifolds, in direct and remote executions and as monoflange. All our valves are available with different kinds of stems, for high pressure or temperature applications, and with hard or soft tip. The standard material is stainless steel AISI316, but we also offer a variety of exotic materials like Hasteloy, Monel, Duplex, and super Duplex. Badotherm double ferrule fittings have a special silver protection layer in the nut as standard to protect the threading from galling.


This highly engineered product is predominantly manufactured in AISI316 material for the petrochemical, hydraulics, power generating, general engineering, gas, and instrumentation industries. Badotherm double ferrule fittings are manufactured to the internationally accepted ‘twin ferrule’ design and as such are interchangeable with similar products made to the same specification. The fittings are suitable for a minimum of 2 mm and a maximum of 25 mm pipe with different thread dimensions.

Additional devices:

Badotherm offers a limited specialised product range for the automotive industry. This range consists of various pressure gauges and thermometers for car tyres, compressors, water cooling, and car engines. A complete range of thermostats, a small device between the engine and the radiator to control the water cooling, is offered for various applications as cars, lorries, busses, military and marine vehicles, locomotives, and compressors.
