Process level gauges (Large)
Large gauges for easy level reading of boiling liquids.
These gauges are hightly effective in a) reducing the boiling effects of entrained gas being released under lowered pressure, b) the liquid itself being vaporized when pressure reaches a critical low point, c) boiling caused by temperature exceeding the boiling point of the liquid when the liequid being gauged has an unnusally low boiling point the gauge and valves should be insulated and the gauge equipped with a non-frosting unit. Large gauges are of flat glass reflex or transparent design. The liquid chamber is constructed of heavy tubing restproofed and carefully slotted and machined to provide plain seats for the gaskets and glass assemblies. The covers are steel secured with specially designed bolts.

Process level gauges (Medium)
General purpose level gauge for medium pressure/temperature applications.
Standard construction of this type includes a solid one piece chamber machined from carbon steel with steel covers, toughened glass and chrome molybdenum bolts and nuts. All metal parts are rust-proofed. Recessed gasket seats prevent movement and insure leak-free service. Medium level gauges are also available in a wide variety of materials to meet specific corrosive or extreme temperature conditions. This type of level gauge is suitable for boiler applications when installed in accordance with the requirements of the European standards. |

Process level gauges (High)
Heavy duty purpose level gauge for safe and reliable service.
These level gauges are designed and manufactured to the highest industrial standards. Their reliability under difficult operation conditions is well known in the process industry.
High level gauges have a one piece liquid chamber machined from solid bar steel. Interchangeable sectional gauge covers and glasses are tightly locked over the liquid chamber with special bolts and nuts. Recessed gasket seats have a fine finish to provide a positive leak-proof seal between the chamber and the glasses. All metal surfaces inside and outside, including the threaded areas are rust-proofed. |

Tubular level gauges
Level gauges for low pressure and boiler drum applications.
Tubular glass level gauges comprise a length of 19mm. outside diameter drawn borosilicate glass tube fitted each end with an offset isolating valve to permit connection to a vessel. The series 20 and 60 valves can be supplied on this level gauge. The visible standard length with a single glass is to and including 2000 mm vessels. Longer lengths are available on application. To determine the following details subtract for centre to centre dimensions. Visible glass - centres distance minus 180 mm. |

Magnetic level indicator - MLD
Indicates the level in the tank on a scale.
Brasten magnetic level gauges are designed for gauging liquids where glass, gaskets, threaded connection etc cannot be tolerated because of corrosion problems, toxic gases, dangerous fluids etc. Model MLD is a economy model with equally effective performance as MLR. The indicating column consists of an encased shuttle magnet inside a glass tube. The shuttle magnet is couples with a float magnet inside the cage and moves along with the float to indicate the correct liquid level of the vessel on which the cage is fitted. This model can be used for high temperature applications. Alarm switches and transmitter cannot be provided with model MLD. |

Magnetic level indicator - MLR
Column of colored rollers indicate the level in the tank.
Brasten magnetic level gauges are designed for gauging liquids where glass, gaskets threaded connection etc cannot be tolerated because of corrosion problems, toxic gases, dangerous flueds etc. Model MLR features a column of magnetic rollers which are white on one side and red on the other. The rollers are made from plastic with a distance of 10 mm between the axes. As the float moves up or down the bunched field of the permanent magnet mounted in its top section pulls the rollers through a rotation of 180 degrees, thus changing color. As the float rises, the rollers are turned from white to red and as the float falls, they are changed back to white again. This model can be used with alarm switches and a transmitter with 4-20 mA output. The chamber on which the indicator is mounted must be of a non magnetic material. The standard is AISI316 but can also be supplied in PP, PVDF, PVC etc on request.
